Costumes

So: we dressed up, we went trunk-er-treating, we ate candy, and we had fun.

Brooklin went to a costume birthday party last week. It was a murder mystery party, and she was supposed to be Little Red Riding Hood. We found her a "red riding hood", and she wore an apron and carried a basket. She said it was totally fun.

Here are the kids in their Halloween costumes. Brooklin went as a hippie...she reused this costume from spirit week last year, Caleb was Batman, London was Princess Leia, and Isaiah was a shark.

I don't think I saw one little child in a costume this year...........that's so sad for me. We just stayed home and of course no one comes here. I'm so thankful for all the blogs that have been posted and all the pictures of my grandkids! Did you crochet London's hair?? With Brooklin's BIG hair she could pass for a real 70's girl! Isaiah's costume is really cute and Caleb is the happiest Batman I have ever seen. Did you get my Halloween present in time?

I love Halloween! Unfortunately, in my area (Utah) trunk or treat has ruled the night. Kids don't knock on doors anymore...they gather in a parking lot and walk three steps in between cars. They can get a whole bag full in less than 20 minutes. It's just not right!!! :)

Costumes looked great! We had a lot of fun too. Jay loved the Princess Leia (probably spelled wrong). Sort of a Star Wars freak you know.
